Objective: To examine the association between the foods and beverages that children consume and their BMI. Design: Data on food consumption were collected through a food frequency questionnaire, and children were weighed and measured by the researcher. Subjects/setting: The study included 45 children aged 8 to 13 years, Participants are part of the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver Boettcher Branch. Statistical analyses: Descriptive statistics were conducted to describe all variables.
