The object of this paper is to assist the ceramics teacher in experimentation with local clays. The purpose of this paper is to classify and annotate free and inexpensive health teaching materials that might aid the health teacher in choosing those materials that would best fit a particular teaching situation. Since the health teacher has such an excellent array of source materials, the problem seems to be in the proper selection of these materials. Included in the paper are suggestions concerning; determining needs for health teaching materials, the techniques employed when requesting health materials, and the use of health materials.
