Men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender women has been a focus of scholars since the early 1990s. Researchers have demonstrated that individuals in these communities are at greater risk for adverse health outcomes such as sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). This study examined the relationship between macrosocial structural factors (i.e., housing stability) and the acceptance of risky sexual behavior (RSB) (i.e., condom use) between Black and Latino MSM, and transgender women guided by the health belief model and intersectionality theory.
