Objective-This study aims to identify the relationship between the Fifa 11+ program and the angle of valgus deformity at the knee. Background-200,000 ACL tears are reported each year. Previous studies have linked valgus motion of the knee to an increased rate of ACL injury and females exhibit a 4-6x increased risk for ACL injury. Fifa 11+ has shown promise in studies done on professional soccer teams yet remains untested in a younger population. Background: Given the high risk and vulnerability of LGBTQ+ individuals to experience a lack of education and effective health promotion with regard to sexual health, there is a lack of literature review on health promotion programs targeting these individuals combined with the consideration for the unique barriers faced by LGBTQ+ populations.

Background: The efficacy of the Athletic Identity Measurement Scale (AIMS) and Compulsive Exercise Test (CET) as a screening tool for identifying runners who are at high-risk for incurring a stress fracture. A screening tool that incorporates both physical and psychological risk factors may be key in preventing stress fracture incidence in collegiate runners. Methods: A descriptive survey was designed and filled out by collegiate runners to collect information about various well-known risk factors as well as age, gender, anthropometric measures, injury history, competitive training years, weekly training mileage, and history of disordered eating. Introduction: Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the United States (U.S.), after cardiovascular disease. Although there has been a continuous decline in cancer mortality rates in the U.S. over the past two decades, the Appalachian region, which extends through 13 states and 420 counties in the southeastern part of the U.S., has seen a lower decline in cancer mortality. From 1980-2014, cancer deaths decreased by almost 45%, but cancer mortality rates in rural Appalachia was 36% higher than for urban non-Appalachian counties. The purpose of this research is to delve into the topics of medication adherence, medical mistrust, and resulting or concomitant self-medication in order to define relationships and suggest solutions. There seems to be a relationship between greater medical mistrust and lower levels of medication adherence, as well as patients’ likelihood to self-medicate. Lack of medication adherence contributes to chronic disease and an increase in spending toward treatment both by the patient and the health-care industry over time. Background: Sexual assault, particularly rape, is considered to be the most severe form of trauma with long term health consequences. Of the estimated 9.3 to 43 percent of victims who seek initial medical care post assault, only 10 to 50 percent attend follow-up care. Objectives: The purpose of this integrated literature review is to identify factors directly and indirectly associated with sexual assault and rape victims attending follow up care. Methods: Peer review articles from 1998 to 2018 were selected from CINAHL, Cochrane Library, ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source, and PubMed.
