Positive communication plays an important role in building a harmonious family. The objectives of this research were to: 1) Identify the characteristics of Mother School participants in 3 urban villages in Bogor; 2) Classifying family communication patterns of participants in Mother Schools based on low, moderate, and high categories; and 3) Analyze the benefits of Mother School program. The study was conducted with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The respondents were 84 people from the villages of Ciluar, Ciparigi, and Kedung Halang. Madiun Regency is one area that has a lot of active silat colleges, there are 14 (fourteen) silat colleges, mostly based in Madiun. In the dynamics of Madiun pencak silat development, there is Suran Agung tradition as a form of local wisdom in every pencak silat college at the suro month. The activity involved mass mobilization, the escalation of conflict between members of the martial arts college and communities also increased. The focus of this research is to examine the communication techniques between parents and children in the context of parenting and giving advice (sharenting) for the prevention of children or adolescents' delinquency. The informants of this research were students, teachers, parents, and community leaders from two countries (Indonesia and Malaysia). Data were collected utilizing the focus group discussion techniques via Zoom meeting platform. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis which includes four stages, namely: data collection, data reduction, display data, and drawing a conclusion/verification. The millennial generation emerges in the era of advanced technology. The characters of the generation tend to have advanced knowledge of both technology and information. This convenience, spreading information easily, causes difficulty identifying whether or not the news is factual.
