The Foster family papers contains personal correspondence and newspaper clippings sent to Ira Foster and his wife, Inez Foster, née Pritchard, between the years of 1932 and 1967 and while they lived in Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This collection also contains cemetery records for the sister and brother-in-law of Inez Foster, Ioda and Ralph Daniel Templeton.

From description on inventory from donor Albert Kennedy: The collection is comprised of material related to three generations of the Kennedy, Guidos, and Bednar families, all of whom lived in Arkansas from the early 1900s. The photos, correspondence, and other materials document life in the Slovak settlement in Hazen, also called Slovaktown, Arkansas, and the German community in Subiaco, Arkansas. The records and photos then show the transition in the early 1940s from these rural areas to the city of Little Rock, Arkansas. The Soil Conservation District of Lawrence County, under the authority of the United States Department of Agriculture and Soil Conservation Service, assisted local farmers in developing plans to manage their lands. These plans included suggestions for preventing erosion, water pollution, and crop failure. For J.J. Courtney, a plan was developed to manage his farm outside of Walnut Ridge that would prevent soil erosion and promote soil health for good crop yields.

It is the purpose of this study to investigate the core of manorial life, a single manor, in order to reconstruct the type of life existent there. For this purpose the manor of Wakefield in Yorkshire, England, has been chosen. As a further limiting factor this study will inquire into Wakefield life in the reign of a single king, Edward I, 1272-1307. It is hoped by this effort that life in Wakefield may be caught in a photograph, before it has a chance to vary its characteristics and customs to any great degree.

This resolution passed on December 27, 1952, by the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation, resolves to endorse Edward A. Milligan of Bottineau North Dakota to be appointed as United States (US) Commissioner of Indian Affairs. The resolution cites Milligan's qualifications for the position. The resolution passed with a vote of 50 for and 0 against. The resolution is signed by Ernest Wilkinson Jr. (Secretary) and David Painte (Chairman). A handwritten note on the resolution reads, "copy."
