This article describes Robert James Baker’s academic pedigree and genealogy, his scientific productivity (number of publications), his citations, his students, his contributions to his university and scientific societies, his personality in relation to his scientific achievements, his legacy, and a personal note of appreciation by individuals who worked with him and knew him well. His accomplishments are compared with other dominant personalities in the field of mammalogy, both historical and contemporary. NUTR455, Advanced Nutrition and Human Metabolism is a capstone, ACE 10 course for undergraduate seniors in nutrition and health sciences that I teach in spring semesters since 2017. Among the 3 classes that I taught, spring 2019 class did awesome job in their overall performance, in-class participation, and in-class exams and in their final poster assignment. Saudi universities are utilizing various university ranking systems to publicize their academic and research performance to the students and their parents. This study aimed to describe the ranking position of top ten Saudi universities across Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and Times Higher Education (THE) world university rankings based on the ranking results established in 2019. Based on results, the leading position observed among such universities were King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in QS and King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in THE.
