The Existing Space In Nebraska Multistory Square Farm Houses, Jerre Lewis Withrow, Florence Mckinney
Historical Research Bulletins of the Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station
The present study was made by the University of Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station to determine the extent of similarity in the plans of one particular style of house, the square house of more than one story. Patterns of remodeling will be developed if the similarity of existing houses justifies such a project. The two story square house was chosen for study because it is one of the predominant old style houses still in existence throughout the North Central Region.

A Study Of Personality Characteristics And Effectiveness Of Job Performance Of Usaf Non-Commissioned Officers Instructing Basic Military Training, John R. Grotzinger
Student Work
Years of service in the Air Force has served to reveal the need for an increased awareness of the high cost of training personnel. While many factors are involved in this problem, one particularly important facet is the type and quality of leadership, instruction and supervision which basic trainees are s u b jected to in their initial period of adjustment to military life. This inchoate period of adjustment in the Armed Services is a particularly sensitive one for the individual.

Prepared for the City of Windsor; "We take pleasure in submitting a fifteen year programme for the urban renewal of the City of Windsor and its metropolitan area. This report is a logical sequence of the Master Plan Report, which we submitted thirteen years ago as a guide for the future development of Windsor. Since then remarkable improvements have taken place in the city. Some of them were of a legislative nature, others were physical developments involving some 40 public and private projects at a cost of almost 24 million dollars."

Department of Defense Military Intelligence
When this manual was issued, military intelligence in the US armed forces was highly decentralized. A number of organizations within the Army Corps of Engineers were responsible for producing engineer intelligence for US forces in the field and strategic engineer intelligence for use by the Department of Defense and US armed forces.
This detailed manual defines the engineer intelligence at length. It explains the role of the Corps of Engineers in the United States and of engineer elements within US forces in the field.

Family Organization In The Amazon Valley, Saul Benchimol
Family Organization In The Amazon Valley, Saul Benchimol
Sociology ETDs
The plan for this study of the Amazonian family was conceived when the author was living in the Amazon valley. His life in Manaus and other towns in the Amazon valley continuously brought to his attention the problems of family organization. These problems were brought into focus by studies made be Gilberto Freyre, Brazilian sociologist, who had made, thirty years previously, a study of the northeastern family. Later, other studies of the Brazilian family were made. They suggested a similar study of the family in the Amazon valley.
"The Bonny Earl Of Murray": The Ballad As History, Edward D. Ives
"The Bonny Earl Of Murray": The Ballad As History, Edward D. Ives
Dr. Edward D. Ives Papers
Andrew Lang Spoke of the murder of "The Bonny Earl" of Moray as "a deed which for years influenced the politics of Scotland." It is also the subject of one of the most beautiful and stirring of the Scottish ballads (Child 181), compelling even to people hearing or reading it for the first time. Neither will our knowledge of its historical background make us see a poor ballad as a good one. On the other …
