Use And Impact Of Social Networking Sites On Reading Habits Of College Students, Manzoor Hussain, Syed Uzma Kubravi, Fayaz Ahmad Loan

The main objective of the study was to investigate how social networking sites (SNS) have shaped the reading habits of the degree college students in the Srinagar district of Kashmir, J&K, (India). Data were collected with the aid of a well-designed and structured questionnaire using Google forms. The results reveal that students use social networking sites for both academic and non-academic purposes. It was revealed that the majority of the students in all disciplines used social networking sites for exchanging reading material, communicating with teachers and classmates, obtaining information, and reading newspapers and magazines.
