The scientometric analysis of Nobel Laureate George P. Smith, who had been awarded the Nobel Prize in chemistry in 2018, reveals that the author has published 55 papers in various fields between 1971 and 2019. The subjects included 26 articles in Biomolecular Interactions, 17 papers in Genomics, 10 in Protein, and 2 in Evolutionary Biology. Computer science is a burgeoning research field and has the potential to accelerate the rate of industrialisation and subsequently, economic development. Using bibliometric data obtained from Scopus, this study employed a 15-year bibliometric analysis to highlight Nigeria’s productivity and impact trends in the computer science research landscape. Our findings are summarised as follows: First, Nigeria’s computer science research contribution and citations are meager in comparison to the global output. Secondly, international collaboration is generally weak as most collaborations are national in scope. This paper carried out the bibliometric analysis of research publications published by the BLDEA’s V P Dr.P.G.Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology, Vijayapur for the period from 2001 to 2019. In this period, 156 research articles were published and indexed in Scopus bibliographical citation databases. It examines the year wise publications, the annual distribution of publications, author productivity, etc. Analysis found that, the publications raised from 0.64%to 18.59% publications from the year 2001 to 2019 and observed good progress in scholarly publications. The most productive contributors, institutions, journals and core subjects in coronavirus publications are identified in this study. The highly cited articles on coronavirus are also identified. The present study analyzed 11681 global publications on feminism published from 2000 to 2017. The Scopus citation database was used to extract the required data. After analysis of the data it is found that the highest contribution in feminism research takes the form of journal articles. It is observed that the publications are steadily growing. The top 15 countries accounted for as much as 83 % global publications share. The United States topped the list with highest share (37.45%) of publications.
