The present study is an attempt to know the knowledge and use of electronic information resources by post graduate engineering students studying in 16 Autonomous engineering colleges of Karnataka state. The study involved 1064 post graduate engineering students and found that 100% students use electronic information resources. The study also revealed that e-journals are the most preferred e-resources and the library notice board along with library websites are the major sources of creating awareness about the availability of e-resources. The present study depicts the growth of literature on electronic resources. In this regard, 2274 publications were collected from the Web of Science database from 1989 to 2018. The study attempts to measure year-wise and five-year block-wise distribution of publications using relative growth rate and doubling time, collaborative index, collaborative co-efficiency, and degree of collaboration. The highest number of publications, i.e., 472, was published in the 6th block 2014-2018. The sole author-produced 56.42% (1283) of the total publications, and double authors posted 19.48% (443). This study aims to understand the attitude of students towards digital reading. Survey method was used to conduct the study among the postgraduate students of the universities in Kerala state of India. Stratified random sampling method was used to select a representative sample of 588 students from the teaching departments of the universities. The present study is conducted to analyze the accessibility, deterioration and half-life of URLs of web documents cited in Current Science Journal published during 2015 -2016. A total of 1724 URLs cited in the 1564 articles were examined. It was found that 56.67 percent of URLs were accessible at the time of testing and the remaining 43.33 per-cent of URLs were not accessible. Purpose: The present study investigates the differences between faculty and research scholars in terms of e-resource use, methods of use, purpose, hindrances faced and search strategies.

Methodology: The study was conducted in five universities of North India using survey method. This study examined the strategies and challenges for marketing electronic resources at the Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy. It was conducted at Kivukoni Campus in Dar es Salaam region. Data were collected from 60 students and MNMA library staff using self-administered questionnaires and in depth interviews. The study established that the strategies used for marketing electronic resources were: notice boards, librarians, instructional website, orientation to new users, library home page, institutional newsletters, text messages, social networks, Current Awareness Services and Selective Dissemination of Information as well as posters and brochures while the challenges for marketing of electronic resources to the library …
