The availability of e-resources in university libraries does not determine its usage. These resources are an added advantage for students to get more sources of information for their educational pursuit. However, there was an observation that most students are not using these resources as expected. The purpose of the study was to assess users’ satisfaction with electronic resources available in university libraries in Punjab, Pakistan. The study adopted the quantitative research method to achieve its objectives. The quantitative data were collected through the questionnaire from library users in eight public universities by employing the convenience sampling technique. The findings of the study reveal that the libraries lacked adequate electronic resources. The respondents were satisfied only with the internet resources. The present study examines the user satisfaction of library resources and services in Krishnadas Shama Goa state central Library. Structured questionnaires were distributed among 200 users to collect their opinions regarding the frequency and purpose of their visit to the library. 160 questionnaires were received and analyzed. A survey of 134 faculty members of three oldest agricultural universities of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh was conducted. The goal of this study is to examine the data on how people use print and electronic resources. Users' preferences for both resources were measured using a questionnaire technique in the research. A sample of three university libraries in Ahmedabad received the survey. Descriptive and instructive research is conducted on the usage of resources, resource preferences, Internet use, browsers and search engines, databases for e-resource acquisition, and so on. The majority of students are aware of both sites, and their preferences for both are excellent. However, the majority of them want electronic resources.

The present study depicts the growth of literature on electronic resources. In this regard, 2274 publications were collected from the Web of Science database from 1989 to 2018. The study attempts to measure year-wise and five-year block-wise distribution of publications using relative growth rate and doubling time, collaborative index, collaborative co-efficiency, and degree of collaboration. The highest number of publications, i.e., 472, was published in the 6th block 2014-2018. The sole author-produced 56.42% (1283) of the total publications, and double authors posted 19.48% (443).
