Madras Medical College is the one of well-known premier medical institution, situated in Chennai. The data was collected using PubMed database during 1989-2018, there are 646 Publications were found. Analyzed for year wise growth shows 53(8.20%) Publications found during 1989-1993 and Highest 283(43.81%) Publication found during 2014-2018 Authorship pattern shows single author have contributed 35(5.42%), multi author have contributed 611 articles, the mean relative growth rate is 0.0835 and mean doubling time is 14.65. This study analyzes various aspects of the journal such as growth of articles and citations, authorship pattern and collaboration, number of times cited, most productive countries and institutions, etc. of these articles. The study reveals that the journal has a positive growth in respect to publications and their citations. The authorship pattern found in this journal is towards single authorship.

The study presents the trends in authorship pattern and authors collaborative research in Astrophysics with a sample of 411 articles during the period 2008-2017. The study found single author has contributed 133 with (32.3 %), Multi authored articles are dominant i.e. 278 (67.6 %). The mean value for the overall degree of collaboration for the 2008-2017 is found to be 0.67, the collaboration index increased from 5.18 in 2008 to 8.22 in 2017 with an average of 4.00. The paper presents an analysis of 2735 global publications in RFID(Radio Frequency Identification), indexed in Web of science database during 2014-2018. The collected records were analyzed with the help of ‘Histcite tool’.The present study attempted to reveal the year, country and institution, formwise distribution, authorship pattern, degree of collaboration, relative growth rate and doubling time of publications. The findings of this showed that degree of Collaboration was high at 2017 (0.96).The relative growth rates (RGR) has increased and the doubling time (DT) has rapidly decreased while calculated year wise i.e.2014 to 2018.
