The study investigates availability and utilization of reference sources in academic libraries in Nigeria. It is undertaken as a descriptive survey research design. The population of the study is post graduate students in University of Port Harcourt, totalling 1,264. The simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample. The sample size is (118) post graduate students. Validation of the instrument was done by experts in guidance and counselling department. The reliability was done using cronbach alpha with reliability coefficient of 0.80. The researcher and two trained research assistants distributed the instruments. This study examined awareness and utilization of electronic information resources by undergraduate students in Osun State University. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study while the population of the study consist the undergraduate students in Osun State University, from which 374 were selected using multi-stage sampling technique. A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect data from 374 respondents, out of which 354 copies were completely filled and returned. Data collected were analyzed using frequency counts, percentage and PPMC. This study focused on ascertaining the challenges associated with accessing and utilizing library e-resources by Economics Education students’ in South East NigeriaThe study adopted a descriptive survey research design. Samples were drawn using a purposive sampling technique in selecting four hundred and ninety-two (492) Economics Education students’ from the study area. The study is on social media utilization in the teaching of library and information science courses in tertiary institutions. Survey design was adopted for the study. Three research questions were raised and answered while one null hypothesis was tested. The population of the study consisted of 41 Library and Information Science lecturers. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the information and communication technology (ICT) skills as determinants of utilization of Institutional Repositories (IRs) by lecturers in Covenant University (CU) and the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Nigeria. The research method employed stratified random sampling and the sample size was 94 lecturers from the Covenant University and 285 lecturers from University of Ilorin. The study adopted survey research design. The population of the study consisted 1200 respondents comprising (staff of the Zamfara State Agricultural Development Project, FADAMA III Project, IFAD, Animal rearers and Farmers). Instruments of data collection used for the study were the questionnaire, interview and discussions. One thousand two hundred questionnaires were distributed to respondents and only 988 (82.2%) were dully returned and found usable. The results of the responses were interpreted using simple percentage and frequency tables. Library satisfaction survey is conducted on a regular basis to determine the strengths and weaknesses of its services and collections. It is believed that the result becomes baselines in the planning of library activities to include collection development programs, orientation programs, and promotional enhancements. Specifically, this survey made use of 5 Likert scales to determine the satisfaction level of the library patrons particularly in Maritime Academy.
