The present study provides an overview about the user’s awareness in Federal University Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria.. The study was conducted to ascertain the level of awareness of information resources, services and facilities by students of FUAA. This study investigated the influence of information technology skills on library patronage by undergraduate students in South-west Nigerian universities. A descriptive research design of the ex-post facto was adopted using a sample size of 1527 selected out of the total population of 239,048 undergraduate students in the universities. The study investigated the use of ICT for security and theft prevention in two university libraries in Nigeria. Population of the study is made up of 80 library staff of the two universities, 40 library staff from Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina and 40 library staff from Al-Qalam University Katsina. Librarianship as a profession engages in mentoring in order to sharpen and sustain professional practice and be abreast with new development on the job. The study is on mentoring for professional development of librarians in Nigerian university libraries. This present study is a survey of 250 professional librarians from Nigerian university libraries. Questionnaire was used to collect data from the respondents. The percentages of the responses were tabulated. We aim the identification of library policies in universities in the United States with a focus on extraction the elements of policies and classification of policies into main components.

In this study, twenty library websites of universities in the United States have been inquired to extract main components of library policies using the classification and comparative analysis.
