Abstract

The main aim of the study is to know the use of e-journals among the faculty members and students in engineering college libraries. The results of the study show that the students and faculty members who participated in this survey are aware of e-journals and majority of the respondents used e-journals for study and project dissertation work. This study aimed firstly to provide a rough estimate of the effects of the economic crisis on five European national libraries (Austria, Denmark, Malta, Portugal and Spain). Secondarily it sought to establish the possible benefits for these libraries of having a strategic plan during that period. The objective here is first, to analyze the components of the trends of publishing, topics, methodology, authors status and references to the articles of the subject journal; and, next, to compare the content and structure of this journal with the criteria of new regulations on determining the credibility of the Iranian scientific journals. The people of Cireundeu Village are known to hold firm Sundanese wiwitan customs and traditions of ancestral heritage that contain local wisdom. This paper presents results of a survey conducted to investigate the level of satisfaction of Maasai Mara University (MMARAU) library user’s towards university library services. The study adopted survey research design and questionnaires was used for data collection. From the results, library users perceive the quality of library services to be above average. Library users opinion about library professional staff help to users in university library: a study in deemed to be university libraries, Andhra Pradesh, India. In this study distributed 1164 questionnaires to library users and received 1030 responses, the response rate is 88%. The study revealed that the response rate among the faculty fluctuated between 71 and 100, among the research scholars it ranged between 68 and 91 percent and among Post Graduate students it varied between 84 and 95 percent. The Study examined usefulness of library and Information Services in Deemed to be University libraries in Andhra Pradesh. The analysis was carried out on the data extracted in the form of 1908 records extracted from Web of Science during 2001-2019. However for testing of Lotka’s law all the records i.e. 4212 available 1989 were used. An annual growth is highlighted in the study period. The article draws attention to annual growth of publication output, co-authorship network, distribution of publication output on the basis of various subject categories, leading collaborative institutes and countries. The purpose of this present study was to determine the level of personal characteristics of library professionals on their job performance in four University libraries in Varanasi. The personal characteristics consists of gender and work experience. In this study, the survey research design was adopted to investigate the level of these variables on the job performance of a sample of library professionals from the four university library in Varanasi.
