The study investigated the awareness and utilization of electronic databases by university undergraduates in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. It adopted a descriptive survey design with a study population of 1,116 registered undergraduates-users of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) library and Ritman University Library. 224 undergraduates were selected using the proportionate stratified sampling technique. Observation checklist, structured questionnaire and unstructured interview were used to collect data for the study. 224 copies of the questionnaire were distributed, but 186 copies were completed and retrieved. The article presents findings on the usage, demographics, and correlation of Academic Social Networking Sites (ASNSs) among faculties in Bangalore University and Tumkur University. The study found that there is a high level of usage of ASNSs and Social Networking Sites (SNSs) among faculties in both universities, with slight gender and subject-wise variations in their usage. The study also investigated the awareness and usage of various ASNSs and SNSs, finding that ResearchGate and Academia.edu are more commonly used ASNSs among faculties compared to SNSs. Over the years, there has been an increase awakening on plagiarism and the need to curb it, especially among postgraduate students. Hence, the need for them to have a good knowledge of plagiarism software.

This study investigates the adoption and use of plagiarism software among postgraduate students in universities in South-west Nigeria. Employing a survey research design and random sampling, thirty-four postgraduate students from each of the universities were selected.

This study examines the influence of awareness tools on library electronic resources: a case study of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) employing a quantitative research approach and survey methodology, the research targeted a sample population of 1,680, including 1,513 students, 140 academic staff members, and 27 academic librarians. A combination of probability (stratified random and systematic) and nonprobability (purposive) sampling methods were applied. The study employed online self-administered closed-ended questionnaires distributed through Google Forms to participants' emails. This study investigated user perceptions and challenges associated with accessing and utilizing electronic resources at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), including their implications for remote users. This study assessed awareness of farmers on agricultural information services in Mara region in Tanzania. Quantitative approach was adopted and data collection used single structured questionnaire. Awareness scales measured three factors; awareness knowledge; agricultural information needs and lastly use of ICTs in accessing agricultural information services. The results indicated that majority (93.2%; 280) of respondents had little knowledge of awareness, (91.3%; 272) of the response, needed improved seed varieties and the average, (60%; 180) of respondents have low use of ICT in accessing agricultural information services. Collection acquisition is continuously becoming a rigorous activity as libraries are seeking more economical path to information resources to adequately meets the needs of their users. Libraries are supporting patrons needs through demand-driven acquisition that gives them liberty to participate in library collection acquisition decision. This study investigates Malaysian academic libraries adoption of Demand-driven acquisition (DDA) model considering the mediating effect of readiness. A quantitative research approach was employed using survey questionnaire with a total of 152 responses gathered. This study demonstrates that readiness has significantly influenced DDA adoption among Malaysian academic libraries, so is awareness and socio-economic factors.

This study examines cataloguers’ awareness, ICT skills and use of Resources Description and Access (RDA) in University Libraries in South South, Nigeria. The study population comprised two hundred and sixty-six (266) librarians from all the 26 university libraries across South South, Nigeria. The entire population of 266 librarians was used as sample using total enumeration sampling technique. Questionnaire was used to elicit data from the respondents. The data collected were analyzed using percentage and frequency counts as well as weighted mean. This study examined awareness and access to electronic information resources by students at Kogi State University, Anyigba. A descriptive survey method was used for the study. The population consists of library users of Dr. Aliyu Obaje Library, Kogi State University, Anyigba. A total number of 139 were administered to undergraduate library users, 102 copies representing (73%) were returned. This study was designed to examine awareness of e-learning among LIS professionals in University of Kerala and Mahatma Gandhi University: A comparative study. The study intended with an aim to explore the awareness, attitude and problems faced in the utilisation of e-learning. Closed ended questionnaire was used to collect the data from respondents.
