The problem of child labor in Kansas is being recognized more and more by the people and by the legislature . Child labor has never assumed formidable proportions in this state, however young people need protection regardless of the number employed. This particular age group has never been a great employment problem, perhaps the principal reason being t hat Kansas is primarily an agricultural state .
