Since the first days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Uzbekistan has developed policy objectives to mitigate its impact on the economy and social sphere. One of the priority tasks was identified as the country's efforts in the field of education, measures to mitigate its consequences, and systematic work was organized to create favorable conditions for the further development of the system of higher and secondary special education, the development of science, and the introduction of modern forms and technologies of education.

The United States must grow its science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) trained workforce in order to fill the jobs projected to be in demand.
