Within the past decade, cultural resource management has become an increasingly significant aspect of archaeological investigations in southern Texas. Twenty-five new sites were identified, recorded, and assessed as the result of a 4000-acre cultural resources survey in northeastern Duval County, southern Texas, by the Center for Archaeological Research, The University of Texas at San Antonio, from October to December 1981.
