Considerable research has shown the value of Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) regarding student engagement and motivation, depth of learning, and cognitive flexibility. Student collaboration is one component of this approach, since students must communicate and work together inside and outside of class time when engaging with an IBL project. Choosing a mobile learning tool can benefit student collaboration in so far as the tool enables anytime/anywhere collaborative learning. This study looked at how 118 Emirati undergraduate students in a government-sponsored university in the United Arab Emirates chose to collaborate in an IBL semester-long assignment. The loss of Ahok-Djarot, incumbent candidate pair, in the second round of gubernatorial
election was allegedly related to the spread of digital disinformation. In addition, racial
and religious sentiments in the society of DKI Jakarta have been fathomed evident in
the last election. The phenomenon has driven a study on digital fluency in diverse socioeconomic
status (SES) for example age, gender, religion, ethicity, religiousity, level of
education and level of income in family. Survey was conducted to 189 voters of DKI

This article discusses the cognitive reasoning behind the love for watching sinetron expressed by Malay-Javanese women in Malaysia. The Malay-Javanese women in this context refer to female members of Javanese communities within Malay society. Malaysians of Javanese descent are constitutionally considered as ethnic component of Malay racial group due to similarities in cultural customs and religion of Islam. This study aims to determine, the self-concept of junior high school students in the city of Yogyakarta and description of the mentoring model for junior high school students in Yogyakarta city based on adolescent self concept. The research method used quantitative method, with descriptive statistical technique. The population of this research is all junior high school students in Yogyakarta city from 15 State Junior High School and 42 Private Junior High. The focus of this paper is the representation of women on Banjarmasin Post's humour
column, "Si Palui," whose stories are either about daily lives or domestic issues. On the
latter topic, the theme which regularly appears is marital problems such as poligamy,
divorce, and sexuality. On this column, women characters are merely supporting casts
and, hence, are subordinated. This research applies the critical language element of the
micro level of Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis in order to understand

This article aims to describe patterns of digital literacy among Sriwijaya University (SU) lecturer and its contribution to the implementation of eLearning. We used a mixed approach. Our population is 635 subjects who have been running and organizing through the e-learning plat-form of SU. We, then, selected 30 lecturers randomly as our samples. Data were collected through offline and online questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and secondary data collection. Likert Scale is used to measure digital literacy among respondents and e-learning implementation is explained using the SIMPLE model. This article provides context for and examines aspects of the design process of a game for learning. Lost & Found (2017a, 2017b) is a tabletop-to-mobile game series designed to teach medieval religious legal systems, beginning with Moses Maimonides’ Mishneh Torah (1180), a cornerstone work of Jewish legal rabbinic literature. Through design narratives, the article demonstrates the complex design decisions faced by the team as they balance the needs of player engagement with learning goals. This study will focus on coverage of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting by multiple English- and Spanish-language media sources in the month following the attack. The study assesses the extent through which following the shooting, coverage of the event often ignored the victims’ and survivors’ queerness, Latinidad, or both. Parenting And Youth Adjustment Across Deployment, Allison E. Flittner O'Grady, Shawn D. Whiteman, Jean-François Cardin, Shelley M. Macdermid Wadsworth
Human Development and Family Studies Faculty Publications
This study examined how changes in at‐home parents' mental health and parenting practices related to changes in their children's adjustment throughout the course of a service members' military deployment. Participants included at‐home parents from 114 National Guard families who were interviewed at four different occasions across the deployment cycle. The results revealed changes across the deployment cycle among the following three indicators: parental warmth, depressive symptoms, and children's externalizing behaviors. Changes in parental warmth were associated with changes in children's adjustment. Overall, these findings indicate that during parental separation, at‐home parents' responses to children have important implications for children's adjustment.

Mindfulness, or paying attention on purpose in the present moment, can serve as a tool for qualitative researchers as they navigate the research setting and data collection. In this article, I provide an overview of mindfulness and suggest ways to incorporate mindfulness as a data collection tool. To demonstrate how to apply mindfulness to qualitative research, I share my personal experience in incorporating a mindfulness practice into data collection as part of a phenomenological study and what I learned in the process. The greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) has been the subject of multiple status reviews under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Wyoming accounts for approximately 38% of the range-wide population. Since 2000, 2 statewide and 8 local citizen working groups have been established in Wyoming to developed conservation plans and advise state policy. The first statewide plan for the conservation of sage-grouse was formally adopted in 2003. The statewide plan established local sage-grouse working groups charged with developing and facilitating implementation of local conservation plans.
