In this study, an intelligent controller was developed for a rehabilitation robot called DIAGNOBOT, which can be used for assessment and treatment in the rehabilitation of wrist and forearm. The controller has a decision support system structure strengthened with conventional statistical methods and databases. The controller uses the patient's biomechanical parameters to make an assessment and proposes a treatment in line with this. In accordance with the recommended treatment, it produces the control parameters, torque, and position information for the control of the rehabilitation robot. This paper presents a unified analog to digital converter (ADC) and digital to analog converter (DAC) for multibit $\Delta\Sigma$ modulators. The unified ADC/DAC circuit provides error shaping for mismatches between DAC unit elements. Hence, the dynamic element matching (DEM) circuit or digital calibration is not required resulting in the area and power saving as well as the elimination of the excess loop delay introduced by DEM circuit. Incorporating a 6-bit unified ADC/DAC, the $\Delta\Sigma$ modulator achieves 16.15-bit resolution utilizing only a second order loop filter and oversampling ratio of 40. In this paper, a low communication parallel distributed adaptive signal processing (LC-PDASP) architecturefor a group of computationally incapable and inexpensive small platforms is introduced. The proposed architectureis capable of running computationally high adaptive filtering algorithms parallely with minimally low communicationoverhead. A recursive least square (RLS) adaptive algorithm based on the application of multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) channel estimation is implemented on the proposed LC-PDASP architecture. The smart street light (SSL) system is an emerging technology in which a street light is equipped withan advanced control system for dimming and turning the light on or off. SSL also improves the maintenance work byproviding an enhanced inventory, which includes Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates that can be retrieved froma GPS-enabled SSL. However, GPS coordinates may be inaccurate due to human error and GPS inaccuracy. This workproposes new algorithms for identifying human error and GPS inaccuracy in SSL installation by using distance analysisand the solving point-in-polygon method. This study presents a compact dual element wearable ultrawideband (UWB) multi-in multi-out (MIMO)antenna with increased port isolation. The suggested design consists of a jeans substrate in which a tree-fashioned stubcomprising of eight branches is introduced in the middle position of the partially etched antenna ground for improvingthe characteristics of port isolation. The proposed design occupies the frequency spectrum operating from 1.71 to12.63 GHz (impedance bandwidth of around 152.3%) and satisfies the bandwidth demands for WiMAX (3.2-3.8 GHz),WLAN (5.15-5.35/5.72-4.85 GHz), the C Downlink-uplink bands (3.7-4.2/5.9-6.425GHz), ITU bands (8-8.5GHz) andthe downlink defense band (7.2-7.5GHz). For some industrial converter applications such as battery chargers, a DC/DC converter is needed to stepdown the high DC (direct current) voltages generated by PWM (pulse with modulated) rectifiers to lower voltage levelssuch as 110V/220V. These both complicate the design and decrease the efficiency. In this paper, a novel topology thatincludes a step-down transformer and a novel control algorithm is proposed. Outdoor captured scenes are degraded by atmospheric particles and water droplets. Due to scattering andabsorption effects in the atmosphere, degraded images lose contrast and color fidelity. Performances of the computervision algorithms are bound to suffer from low-contrast scene radiance. In many single-image dehazing models, thelarger the deviation in estimation of the key parameters such as transmission map and atmospheric light, the higherthe halo artifacts and loss of fine details in the dehazed image.
