Practice Problem: Hypertension is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide. Blood pressure measurement (BPM) is at the forefront of diagnosing and treating hypertension, however, it is often measured inaccurately.

PICOT: The PICOT question that guided this project was: In outpatient adult patients (P), what is the effect of implementing a standardized blood pressure measurement protocol (I) versus standard measurement (C), on the quality of blood pressure measurement (O) within 8 weeks (T)?

There are disparities in knowledge among healthcare workers when caring for adult patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Lack of knowledge about the characteristics of this population and strategies to enhance care pose a barrier to treatment during hospitalization. A computer based educational module was developed and assigned to staff at a community hospital. An online toolkit for healthcare providers was developed to aid staff in recognition of triggers and supplied adjunct methods for communication. In adult populations (18-65), does the administration of antidepressants, compared to not administering antidepressants, reduce the severity of the Covid-19 infection? Current treatment protocols for Covid-19 virus are still new and needing improvement. Discovering a new pharmacologic approach has been on the forefront of medical research since the beginning of the pandemic. The purpose of this paper is analyzing the efficacy of antidepressant drugs for reducing morbidity and mortality associated with Covid-19 virus.
