The purpose of this project is to create a new nurse orientation program. The project provides socialization, mentorship, organizational context, and information that is crucial for a new graduate nurse to successfully integrate into the IHS healthcare team. It is critical for all new graduate nurses to be socialized and acculturated into their practice environments.
