Introduction: Planned or unplanned hospitalization increases the family’s stress and anxiety level. Hospitalization creates stress as they interrupt normal routines and place increased demands on parents who must further divide their time between the normal responsibilities and their hospitalized child. Introduction: Government of India had initiated the Universal Immunization Program (UIP) in 1985 with the objective of eradicating vaccine preventable diseases from India. In order to boost up the vaccination coverage the Government initiated various proactive programs to engage the public.
