Background/aim: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the Turkish reliability and validity of the medical outcomes study (MOS) sleep scale in patients who have obstructive sleep apnea. Materials and methods: The data of the study were collected from 120 adult patients with obstructive sleep apnea and from 90 healthy individuals between March 04 and May 31, 2019. Purpose: This study investigated infants and toddlers with Down syndrome (DS) to determine: reliability of the Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control (SATCo), concurrent validity of the SATCo with the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM), and whether age and SATCo score predict GMFM score.

Methods: Eighteen infants and toddlers with DS were tested on the SATCo by 2 physical therapist (PT) raters. One PT rater administered the GMFM. After 2 weeks, PT raters rescored their recorded SATCo sessions. A third PT rater also scored the SATCo videos.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Clinician Rated Drop Vertical Jump Scale (CR-DVJS) in a population of patients following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). Patients completed two drop vertical jump tasks at 6 and/or 12-months post-operative. One task was recorded using a motion capture system. Four individuals of varying clinical experience served as raters for the CR-DVJS. Rater scores of valgus collapse did not correlate strongly with motion capture measures of knee abduction moment or angle. The PhysioFlow bioimpedance cardiography device provides key measures of central systolic and diastolic and peripheral vascular function. Many of these variables have not been assessed for intrarater reliability and agreement during rest, submaximal exercise and high-intensity interval exercise. Twenty healthy adults (age: 26±4 years) completed two identical trials beginning with five minutes of rest followed by two 5-minute submaximal cycling bouts at 50% and 70% of peak power output. Although some studies have investigated the internal consistency of eyetracking, data are scarce on the test–retest reliability and agreement of eyetracking to investigate attentional bias. This study reports the test–retest reliability, measurement error, and internal consistency of 12 commonly used outcome measures thought to reflect the different components of attentional bias: overall attention, early attention, and late attention.

The Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT) is an eight-direction, maximal-reach balance test whose measurement properties are unknown in participants with chronic patellar instability. We designed an observational study with repeated measures to evaluate the test-retest reliability, cross-sectional and longitudinal construct validity, sensitivity to change and responsiveness of the SEBT in this population. Fifteen patients completed the SEBT and reported outcomes at baseline and two weeks and four patients completed testing three months later at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic.

Two assessors measured a series of lumbar flexion and extension movements using the J-Tech™ dual inclinometer. The Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scales (DASS-21) questionnaire is commonly used to help measure disordered mood. In this study, we used Rasch analysis to analyze the clinimetric properties of the DASS-21 in a chronic low back pain sample. Study Design and Setting: A Rasch analysis was conducted on data collected as a part of a randomized hospital-based placebo-controlled trial.
