Context: Low back pain (LBP) is a common cause of disability in adults and primary care physicians (PCPs) are commonly the first medical practitioners to assess these patients. Despite this, PCPs often feel unprepared to make return to work (RTW) recommendations. Aims: The purpose of our project was to develop RTW guidelines for patients with LBP in the form of an accessible and adaptable electronic medical records (EMR) integrated tool. Meditation and mindfulness are practices that have becoming readily accepted within the mainstream Westernized culture, as evidenced by the plethora of widely available ways to implement them via online, written, and in-person resources. Effectiveness Of Intermittent Mechanical Traction In Cervical Radiculopathy: A Systematic Review, Gilmour Gregory, James M. Mckivigan

The aim of this review was to assess the effectiveness of intermittent mechanical traction (IMT) in treating cervical radiculopathy (CR). A literature search was conducted electronically, and the data were extracted from the available papers that evaluated IMT and its combination with other therapies. The risk of bias was assessed using the criteria recommended by the Cochrane Back Review Group. The quality of evidence was evaluated using the grading of recommendations, assessment, development, and evaluation method (GRADE). Nine of the articles met the inclusion criteria and were included in the review. Results showed that four studies with very low level …
