Diabetes Mellitus is a disease that is becoming more prevalent in the world each day, and it can be deadly if it is not properly controlled. There are multiple aspects that go into self-management of diabetes such as diet, glucose control, physical activity, and lifestyle choices. This study focused on the physical activity aspect of diabetes self-management. Fifty-four subjects completed a survey that questioned time spent sitting while at work, physical activity done outside of work each week, and the results of their most recent Hemoglobin A1C check.
