Dentoalveolar ankyloses of primary tooth sometimes cause impaction of its successor tooth. In this condition, extraction of the ankylosed primary tooth and orthodontic forced eruption of the impacted permanent tooth may be a choice of treatment. In this case report, we present a 23-year-old female with Angle Class II malocclusion, whose mandibular left 2nd premolar impacted due to ankyloses of its primary tooth. She also had dental arch crowding and gummy smile problems. The patient received full-mouth orthodontic non-extraction treatment combine using TADs. As a result, her problems of malocclusion and gummy smile improved.

This case report presented a11 y/o Chinese female with Class I skeletal pattern and normal mandibular plane angle.Multiple teeth were impacteddue to a dentigerous cyst over anterior region in the maxilla. After the enucleation of the cyst, the crown portion of 11 was exposed but with improper position and angulation. Our treatment plan was described as below: (1) Forced eruption of tooth 11-13 and align with the upper dentition, (2) Follow up the permanent teeth eruption in mandible. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the possible factors that affected the duration of forced eruption of impacted upper incisors. Methods: 24 patients (mean age eight years and nine months old ), 25 upper impacted incisors were included in this study. Factors analysed included the age, the distance from impacted incisor edge to the occlusal plane, presence of odontoma or supernumerary tooth, the crown orientation,eruption space loss and root dilaceration. Restoration of severely damaged anterior tooth requires comprehensive evaluation and carefully treatment plan making. A case of inadequade supra-gingival tooth structure of maxillary central incisor which needs restoration was presented. Forced eruption was used to lengthen the clinical crown, and adjust the gingival level. Then full ceramic crowns were restored for esthetic demands of the patient. Evaluation, treatment plan consideration, and overview of the forced eruption was provided.
