The study was conducted to assess the awareness and health promotional behaviour regarding non- alcoholic fatty liver disease among female population at risk . Methods: this non- experimental research study was conducted among 149 females under risk of developing Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Data collection tools used were a risk assessment checklist, a questionnaire to assess the knowledge and a rating scale to assess the health promotional behaviour. Vanishing twin’s syndrome refers to the death of one of the co-twin foetus(es) during the early antenatal period. The cause of vanishing twins is unknown and most cases occur with in-vitro fertilization (IVF) conception. Transvaginal ultrasonography helps to detect lost twins during the early trimester. The complications that may arise among neonates born to women with a known history of vanishing twin syndrome are low birth weight and low Apgar score at birth.

Autism, otherwise identified under the DSM 5 Diagnostic and Statistical Classification as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a neurodevelopmental genetic developmental disorder among children, which can affect the social communication, changes in sensory aspects and repetitive, ritualistic patterns of behaviour. The present report describes a case study of a child who was diagnosed with autism. The report follows the child’s history from birth till diagnosis and explores the challenges faced by the child and parents to obtain necessary care for the child during the current pandemic situation in an attempt to raise awareness regarding the condition among health professionals.

Extreme preterm birth is the most critical risk factor, which leads to adverse effects on medical and developmental outcomes. We report a case of an extremely preterm infant admitted to NICU and had a prolonged period of non-invasive ventilation. The neonate had hepatosplenomegaly and antibiotic, antifungal, and antiviral treatment. She was recovered and shown significant improvement in her health status and growth and development were assessed until five years of corrected age.

People with a diagnosis of hypothyroidism report a decreased quality of life (QOL). The study aimed to determine the prevalence and QOL of people who were diagnosed with IDD.
