Breast cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women in the United States. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommend women at average risk of breast cancer to begin screening mammography starting at age 40. Mammography has been recognized as the most substantial tool to detect breast cancer. However, many rural organizations have seen a decrease in mammography compliance rates.
