Health care business executives lack strategies to implement material management information systems (MMIS) related to medical device recalls. Lacking sufficient MMIS, health care business executives face insufficient product tracking related to medical devices affecting operational efficiency. Grounded in the conceptual frameworks of the technology acceptance model and diffusion of innovation, the purpose of this qualitative single case study was to explore health care business executives’ strategies for implementing an MMIS related to medical device recalls.
