Background: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the surgical removal of gall bladder and is the common treatment of symptomatic gall stone and other GB conditions. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy can be performed under general anaesthesia which is frequently associated with persistent postoperative pain.
