The copy and paste (c/p) function is utilized by many clinical and administrative staff in the healthcare organization. A survey comprising of 10 multiple choice questions was randomly administered to 60 employees at a skilled nursing facility to determine if the utilization of the copy and paste function leads to errors in the electronic health record (EHR) and ultimately reduced the quality of the record.
