The National Research Utilization Conference, held in Manila September 20, 1994, was the third conference convened by the Population Council's Family Planning Operations Research and Training (FPORT) Program in collaboration with the Department of Health. The FPORT program is being conducted under the Population Council's Asia and Near East Operations Research and Technical Assistance Project. This conference is the culmination of activities that started in October 1992 with a workshop on Introduction to Operations Research in Family Planning.
