Naps: A New Approach To Decrease Patient Adverse Outcomes, Ayesha Lakhani

Hospitals have been short staffed, especially during the pandemic. Due to this many staff members have been overworked causing them to become stressed, exhausted, and not alert which is resulting in adverse patient outcomes (Aiken et al., 2004). One of the solutions suggested so far is nap. Nap is a low-cost solution which can help reduce the adverse outcomes of working and help promote positive patient outcomes. This benchmark study is a guide to institute naps and will provide a detailed step-by-step instruction to anyone to ensure a successful implementation of the project.
