Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the presence and correlation of CD44 in selected malignant salivary glands tumors (SGTs), carcinoma ex pleomorphic (Ca ex PA), mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) and adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) histopathological variants. Material and Methods: Thirty-five formalin fixed paraffin embedded blocks of both normal and malignant salivary gland specimens were included. Purpose: This study was carried out to evaluate stability of tapered and cylindrical implants in partially edentulous patients. Materials and Methods: The current study was done on 14 implants that were alienated randomly into two groups: Group I: treated with tapered implant, Group II: treated with cylindrical implant. Results: Clinical results: Modified Gingival Index (MGI) revealed a non-significant statistically difference on comparing results of 3 months and 6 months postoperatively (p=0.254 at 3 months, p=0.606 at 6 months). Purpose: This study aimed to assess the prevalence of oral manifestations of diabetic patients in a group of Egyptian population. Subjects and Methods: A cross- sectional study was conducted on 245 diabetic Egyptian patients. They were recruited from outpatient clinic of the Faculty of Dental Medicine for girls and Al-Azhar university hospitals. Purpose: This study aimed at comparing the efficacy of chemiluminescence and toluidine blue in detecting oral dysplasias and malignancies in at an early stage. Material and methods: A total of 26 patients who had potentially malignant lesions were included in the current study. All lesions were examined using Vizilite TM chemiluminescence followed by painting them with toluidine blue biostain. Then, all lesions were biopsied to be the gold standard for assessing both the chemiluminescence and the toluidine blue.
