Organizational Behavior Of Rehabilitation Residents In Taiwan: A Cross-Sectional Correlation Study, Kuancheng Chen, Yujen Chen, Chiayi Shen, Chengming Chiu, Yitien Su

Most studies on organizational behavior in Taiwan have focused on nurses and general medical staff; however, few studies have focused on rehabilitation residents. We conducted a cross-sectional correlation study on the organizational behavior of 30 rehabilitation residents in Taiwan by administering anonymous questionnaires through mail. The results revealed low continuance commitment scores (p＜.05) among female residents, whereas senior residents showed a high tendency to quit their current jobs. In addition, 19 residents presented type A personality and 11 residents presented type B personality.

In this study, a data visualization-based interactive exploration environment was developed to assess the risk of falling among community-dwelling elderly adults. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of the lower extremity is a multifactorial and potentially fatal complication following stroke. However, repetitive impact on the lower extremity is a relatively uncommon risk factor for DVT. We report an ambulatory hemiparetic stroke patient who, without classic DVT risk factors, developed a lower extremity DVT probably due to repetitive impact on the popliteal fossa after the inappropriate use of a seated leg flexion machine. This case can remind physiatrists and therapists of the importance of preventing patients from using non-ergonomic postures during training sessions.

Pendahuluan: Meningkatnya tekanan darah (TD) 24 jam dan nondipper merupakan faktor risiko morbiditas dan mortalitas kardiovaskular. Prevalensi hipertensi dan nondipper pada Penyakit Ginjal Kronik Stadium 5 dalam Terapi Dialisis (PGK 5D) masih sangat tinggi. Transplantasi ginjal akan memperbaiki TD dan nondipper. Namun demikian, satu bulan pasca transplantasi ginjal, kebutuhan dosis obat imunosupresan masih cukup tinggi yang dapat mengakibatkan hambatan penurunan TD. Latihan pada cabang bersepeda memperhatikan intensitas dengan salah satu parameternya denyut jantung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan perubahan tekanan darah dan denyut jantung pada berbagai intensitas latihan atlet balap sepeda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 11 atlet balap sepeda Pegasus Continental Cycling Team selama periode pengamatan April-Juni 2015. Teknik sampling menggunakan total sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji One Way Anova. Fungsi optimal jantung merupakan hasil interaksi dari berbagai bagian jantung, baik ventrikel kiri maupun ventrikel kanan. Namun, perkembangan diagnosis dan tatalaksana kegawatan jantung umumnya berpusat pada disfungsi ventrikel kiri. Perkembangan keilmuan saat ini memperlihatkan bahwa disfungsi ventrikel kanan juga mengakibatkan gangguan hemodinamik yang signifikan dan membutuhkan tatalaksana yang berbeda dengan tatalaksana disfungsi ventrikel kiri. Infark ventrikel kanan umumnya bukan merupakan suatu kasus tunggal, namun seringkali menyertai infark ventrikel kiri.
