Few research articles are available in the literature regarding the outcomes of interventions involving education about breast health in a health fair environment coupled with one-on-one teaching of the Mammacare, metl1od of breast examination. If women's compliance with breat self-examination could be increased and their perc_ eption about breast screening could be changed by such an interven? 0n, health care providers could have a valuable tool for reducing tl1e ll1cidence of breast cancer mortality in at-risk populations.
