Objectives: To assess the short-term outcomes and procedure-related complications in AVM patients treated with endovascular coiling. Background: Peripheral arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) one of the most challenging among the various congenital vascular malformations to be treated. Objectives: to elucidate our experience in the use of latissmus dorsi free flap for the surgical reconstruction of distal lower limb complex injuries, regarding the surgical techniques and the patients' outcome. Objectives: To evaluate the use of Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for chronic empyema regarding its effectiveness, duration of surgery, postoperative pain, and possible complications. Background: Empyema thoracis is a common disease which may be complicated with multiloculated chronic empyema. Different surgical techniques are used in treatment of empyema like thoracoscopic debridement and open thoracotomy decortication to provide lung re-expansion and restore the good respiratory function.
