Objective The objective of this study was to identify the emerging role of immune checkpoint inhibitors in lymphomas. Materials and methods Medline databases (Google Scholar, PubMed, http://www.ekb.eg) and all materials available on the Internet from 2008 till 2015. The initial search presented 10 articles of which seven have met the inclusion criteria. These articles studied the emerging role of immune checkpoint inhibitors in lymphoma. Studies that did not fulfill were excluded. Study quality assessment included whether ethical approval was gained, eligibility criteria specified, appropriate controls, adequate information, and defined assessment measures have been undertaken. The objective of this study was to review the role of immunotherapy in treating multiple myeloma (MM). Medline databases (PubMed, Medscape, and ScienceDirect) and all related materials available on the internet from January 1993 to December 2016 were searched. The initial search presented 90 articles of which 29 met inclusion criteria. The articles studied the role of immunotherapy in treating MM. Objective The aim of the study was to evaluate T-regulatory cells (Tregs) expression in the peripheral blood of children with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D). Background T1D is mainly a T-cell-mediated autoimmune disease characterized by the destruction of pancreatic β cells leading to insulin deficiency. It is a common autoimmune disorder in childhood, but the disease may become manifest at any age, even in adults. Tregs are subsets of T cells that have an essential role in maintaining tolerance; thus, these cells may play an important role in the pathogenesis of T1D.
