Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is a rare condition that occurs in 1% of all pregnancies. However, women of lower socioeconomic status (SES) and ethnic minority groups are at greater risk of adverse outcomes associated with EP than White women. The purpose of this study was to examine data from the 2014 National Inpatient Sample to identify predictors of complications from EP in 2,626 females ages 15-44 in the United States.
