Purpose: The purpose of this quality improvement project was to determine if an evidence-based educational toolkit and an electronic reminder system would increase the rate of HPV vaccination among male adolescents, age 11-18 years old in an urban pediatric clinic. Background & Significance: HPV is one of the most commonly reported sexually transmitted infections in the United States. The safety and efficacy of the HPV vaccine have been established and approved for both males and females.
