Dengue and Leptospirosis are endemic metaxenic diseases that affect tropical and subtropical areas, mostly in underdeveloped countries. In addition to this, the COVID-19 pandemic is causing a great deal of damage to both the population and the health level. This is the case of a 13-year-old patient who had fever, gingival and intermenstrual bleeding, abdominal pain and shortness of breath. She had SARS-CoV-2 IgM and IgG positive rapid test, and positive serology NS1 for Dengue and IgM for Leptospira. In addition, non-contrast pulmonary tomography showed areas of consolidated and frosted glass at the base level, as well as cysturitis. Diagnoses …

Vasculitis is a rare disease in children, with IgA Vasculitis being its most common presentation. One condition that has been associated with the development of vasculitis is the invasion of the vascular endothelium by Strongyloides stercoralis in cases of hyperinfestation. Another condition that is not yet under-researched is the likely association of IgA vasculitis-like processes with SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 infection itself. It is presented the case of a four-year-old patient who healed with palpable purplish lesions to lower limb predominance, acute abdominal pain, and episodes of high digestive hemorrhage. Application Of The Integrated Autoregressive Method Of Moving Averages For The Analysis Of Series Of Cases Of Covid-19 In Peru, Daniel Cordova Sotomayor, Flor Santa Maria Carlos

Revista de la Facultad de Medicina Humana

Objective: To estimate an Integrated Autoregressive Moving Average model (ARIMA) for the analysis of series of COVID-19 cases, in Peru. Methods: The present study was based on a univariate time series analysis; The data used refer to the number of new accumulated cases of COVID-19 from March 6 to June 11, 2020.
