This study evaluated a novel exercise training program for the individuals diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Although sixteen patients (M:13; F:3) with moderate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease participated in this study, only six completed the training programs. Cycle ergometry was used to test and train the patients. The training was performed three times weekly and lasted three months, with each training section lasting 30 to 40 minutes.
