Isokinetic exercise is performed at a constant speed throughout the range of motion. As the muscle is appiied by force, it encounters a proportional opposing resistance so as to keep the speed of movement eonslanl. Where the muscle is tronger, the resistance increases. The distinct advantage of isokinetic exercise is that it permits the muscle work fully throughout its range of motion.There are many advantages for isokinetic test. They inciude safty, efficiency, accomodating resistance, accuracy and reliability of test data, permanent objective recording and accomodaiion to pain.Thirty gentlemen and twenty ladies arc tested by LIDOACT in our study.
