Background/aim: During the COVID-19 pandemic, the risk of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 has not been precisely known in bronchoscopy procedures. We have designed a cabinet device called Ankara University Bronchoscopy Cabinet (Aubrocab® ) to protect healthcare. We aimed to evaluate preventing effect of Aubrocab® on aerosol spreading by measuring the particles in the bronchoscopy suite. Background/aim: The COVID-19 pandemic majorly disrupted conventional schooling and many countries maintained educational services through distance education. The duration of school closures in Turkey was longer than most OECD countries, thus Turkey prioritized school reopenings in the 2021-2022 academic year to mitigate possible negative outcomes of closures. Here we study the compatibility of implications for school reopenings in Turkey with these practices and assess the first semester of face-to-face schooling. Background/aim: Convalescent plasma (CP) might be an additional treatment modality in COVID-19. The aim of this study was to compare CP-related clinical characteristics and perinatal outcomes in pregnant women with mild or moderate-severe COVID-19. Materials and methods: This prospective cohort study included 36 pregnant women (12 mild and 24 moderate-severe), who underwent CP therapy. The CP obtained from recently recovered donors was transfused to patients together with maximum supportive care and antiviral agents. This crosssectional study aims to investigate the antibody response to COVID-19 among kidney transplant recipients. Background/aim: There is limited data on COVID-19 disease in children with kidney disease. We aimed to investigate the characteristics and prognosis of COVID-19 in pediatric nephrology patients in Turkey. Materials and methods: This was a national, multicenter, retrospective cohort study based on an online survey evaluating the data between 11th March 2020 and 11th March 2021 as an initial step of a detailed pediatric nephrology COVID-19 registry.
