Guillain Barre syndrome presents as acute onset of gradually progressive ascending flaccid paralysis with hyporeflexia or areflexia. The variants are acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, acute motor axonal neuropathy, acute motor sensory axonal neuropathy, and Miller Fisher syndrome.
