Post-partum haemorrhage (PPH) is a leading cause of maternal mortality globally. This report elaborates the diagnosis and treatment of a 31-year-old woman with PPH, treated in our tertiary centre. On presentation, she showed all signs of hypovolemic shock and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Persistent fresh vaginal bleeding led to the decision to perform an emergency hysterectomy. She required massive transfusion but consequently developed transfusion-associated lung injury (TRALI), for which she was effectively treated. Crohn’s disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) commonly associated with extraintestinal manifestations such as arthritis, uveitis, deep venous thrombosis and erythema nodosum. Asymmetrical labial swelling and edema are the most common presentations of genital CD in females. Vulval CD can appear before or after gastrointestinal (GI) CD or it may occur simultaneously with an independent course of disease and response to treatment. Introduction: Problems related to menstruation are one of the most common issues faced by adolescent girls all over India. To improve academic performances among adolescent girls and to reduce menstruation-related school absenteeism, it is important to understand and address the factors affecting school absenteeism during menstruation. Methods: This was a school-based survey conducted for six months from January to June 2019 in the Udupi district of Karnataka State. Background: As of today, no standard treatment protocol nor preventive measures either exists for oral lichen planus. The present investigation aimed to test topical 0.1% tacrolimus as compared to Colgate Oraguard-B paste for managing lesions of oral lichen planus. Methods: It was a hospital-based prospective study with histopathologically confirmed 135 patients of oral lichen planus as subjects, which were provided with 0.1% tacrolimus ointment with Colgate Oraguard-B paste. Late presenting congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a rare subset of diaphragmatic hernias presenting beyond 30 days of life, which may be challenging to diagnose. A 3-year-old girl was referred to our hospital with an acute history of respiratory and gastrointestinal symptoms, with a suspected diagnosis of left-sided pneumothorax. Initial radiological evidence pointed towards left hydropneumothorax. A chest X-ray and ultrasound of the chest seemed to confirm the diagnosis, hence intercostal drainage (ICD) tube was inserted.
