With funding from the Missouri Foundation for Health, in August 2022 The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health began a 12-month study to assess the Community Health Worker field in Missouri. The resulting report, Growing and Sustaining Community Health Workers in Missouri, provides a landscape of current CHW workforce activity in the state, reviews recent milestones in the development of the profession, and profiles innovative training and practice models being employed in Missouri.
